Gregory studied at the University of Washington in Seattle, earning a BA and M.Arch (1994 -2000). While at university, he won numerous design awards, earning a reputation for producing beautiful, resolved projects. His degree thesis project was highlighted by the dean of architecture as one of the most ambitious he'd seen, combining computer programming, soft-robotics and material science to design a 'place of refuge' for a 'post-human' client.

In 2000, he joined P.M. Architects in New York City (Manhattan), where he worked on various commercial and residential projects.
In 2003, he relocated to Jersey (UK), and joined Godel Architects, where he was lead design architect on various projects, such as seaside restaurants, high-end bespoke homes and residential developments. During his time on Jersey, he won five design awards from the AJA (Association for Jersey Architects).
In 2013, he relocated to Cornwall, where he designed and built his family home, which was featured on Grand Designs (2014 & 2015). Following the TV broadcast, commissions for residential projects began, and the idea of a small practice started.
In 2016 he put the architecture practice on hold, to design, renovate and extend a property in Padstow.
In 2018 he established his own practice, NUHUT STUDIO, working on residential projects in London (Shepherds Hill, High gate) and countryside locations throughout the south of England (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Berkshire, Hampshire, West/East Sussex).

To Unwind
Running ultra-distance events. My first ultra running event was in 1987, when the races were few and the community was small. Today the sport is massive, and running events are everywhere, during every season..so I can unwind a lot...happiness! My next race is the CCC - UTMB in Chamonix, where I get to circumnavigate Mt. Blanc, while running through Italy, Switzerland and France.
